About Josh Sprecher and Rally Art Tennis

My tennis journey began just six years ago, sparked by watching my daughter fall in love with the game. Once she could hold a rally, I picked up a racket to play with her and was immediately hooked. What started as a way to connect with my daughter quickly became an obsession, and I knew I wanted to share that passion with others.

As a lifelong entrepreneur, teaching has always been one of my greatest joys. Becoming a PTR-certified tennis professional was a natural next step, and with the encouragement of my mother-in-law, a professional coach with decades of experience, I began building a coaching career.

For the past three years, I have been a certified PTR tennis professional at Lebanon Country Club in Lebanon, PA, working with junior and high school players as well as adults of all skill levels. I recently joined Hershey Racquet Club as a teaching professional and took on the role of Head Coach for the Cedar Crest High School Boys Varsity Tennis Program.

My coaching philosophy is rooted in a simple belief: tennis mirrors life. The discipline required to improve your backhand is the same discipline that drives success in business and relationships. The mental toughness needed to come back from a double fault is the same resilience that carries you through hard days. Learning to quickly forget mistakes and move forward on the court is one of the most transferable skills a player can develop off of it.
